I wanted to upgrade my MacBook Pro to 2GB RAM and a 500GB hard drive, I obtained a number of cost estimates and Alex’s was by far the most competitive. But the real reason he got my go ahead was that he was knowledgeable to talk to and he confirmed the source of the hardware to be installed. His testimonials also caught my attention. All very comforting, and when he came to perform the work in my office he did it in an expeditious manner, was professional and courteous. Replacing a hard drive and transferring all the data is not something I would recommend for a novice to try but Alex made it look so straightforward. His testimonials are well deserved and I wish him every success.

I found out about Alex’s iPhone repair service from a standard web search. At first I was a bit unsure about sending my beloved iphone to someone I didn’t know just on the recommendation of ‘Google’. I shouldn’t have worried! Alex responded to all my questions quickly and clearly and it took only 4 days between posting it off and receiving it back with a new screen in full working order. I was waving goodbye to friend after an evening out and ooops! my iPhone went flying onto the pavement. Cracked screen. Drat! Alex was professional, courteous and well-informed. When my hard drive died, he helped me choose a new hard drive for my iMac (he offered to buy it for me as well), then came to my house to install it and ensure it worked. Replacing the drive on an iMac is not for the feint of heart, but Alex was competent, friendly and fast. He even cleaned my screen while it was apart. I would highly recommend him for this type of operation on your most trusted computers.

I found Alex by carrying out an online search. Having phoned the Apple store and realised how expensive it was I was willing to try someone who I hadn’t met before. Alex was extremely responsive and arranged to come to my office in Canary Wharf the next day. He was punctual and brought everything that he needed to repair the phone screen. I understand the parts are sourced from the same supplier as Apple and there is certainly no difference in use following Alex repairing the screen. I would recommend Alex’s services.

I accidentally dropped my iPhone and smashed the glass. I called Apple and they were only able to give me a date after 2 weeks to TAKE my phone and get it repaired. I called Alex and within a day, he CAME to me and fixed the problem at half the cost!

My new PowerBook hard drive died on a Friday afternoon along with a few important documents. I spent half a day at the Regent Street Macstore and they pronounced it dead by Saturday lunchtime. I needed a replacement fast.

When booting up my old PowerBook at 7pm Saturday night I found to my dismay that its hard drive was about to fall over as well. I found Alex online, dropped into his place at 9pm Saturday night and he was able to replace the hard drive in under an hour! Very knowledgeable, very responsive and above all offers a great service that you can trust.

I can fully recommend Alex to anyone for any Mac related work!

After keeping my iPhone 3G neat and tidy for a good few months, I decided it was about time I did something devestating and managed to completely destroy the screen by shutting it in a drawer, with a hole punch. It did make a terrible sound…

Thinking at first that all was lost, I frenzied up some contact with O2 who advised me it’d be £140 to fix! Thankfully a bit of searching turned up Alex at LoveMac.co.uk. He was very polite and helpful on the email back-and-forth, and since I had to mail my phone to him and get it mailed back, I was a bit nervous about doing so with some random internet chap – but Alex seemed trustworthy, and I’m glad I took the chance, as my phone is now as good as new!

I used Alex after coming across his website on the net after cracking the glass on my 3G iPhone. After being told by Carphone Warehouse that my phone would cost £150 and be needed for 4 weeks, I was delighted to find that Alex met me within a few days of contacting him and repaired my phone in 30 minutes, for a much more reasonable amount of money. On the realization that my beloved iphone had fallen out of my pocket and the screen had cracked in to pieces, I wasn’t sure what to do. Apple wanted to charge a stupid amount that a poor student like me would struggle to afford/was a bit affronted to pay anyway, just because it’s such a rip off. However, my late night internet searching led me to come across Alex, who was polite, on time and even bought me a coffee, as well as the all important fixing of the phone! When someone knocked my iPhone out of my hand and smashed the screen on a train platform I was gutted. Insurers were a nightmare and I didn’t fancy sending it off for 2 weeks for repair. I dropped my lovely new iPhone 3GS and the glass smashed, and rendered it unusable (unless I wanted shards of glass in my fingers). After doing some research I stumbled across lovemac.co.uk. After 5 weeks of stubbornness, falling out of love with my iPhone and trying to see out the last 5 months of my contract with a smashed screen I could take it no more. I was determined I wasn’t going to pay Apple another penny (3 broken phones in one contract) so looked elsewhere and found Alex. There was a ‘too good to be true’ element to this – somebody who would come to your work place and fix your phone there and then for a fraction of the usual cost. Alex mended my iPhone in record time, the day I broke it. I found him through Google after a very depressing call to O2 who had told me that I’d have to pay hundreds of pounds for a replacement. Now my iPhone is as good as new – and Alex’s costs are extremely reasonable. Highly recommended!
